Skin to skin

In my photographic series, “Skin to Skin,” I explore motherhood and the profound impact I have on my daughter’s development. As a single mother, I am acutely aware of my responsibility in shaping her perceptions of the world. Guided by my journey, having experienced the absence of a father, I strive to shield her from uncertainties and ensure she feels unconditionally loved. “Skin to Skin” symbolises the deep bond we’ve shared since her birth, and with each image, I explore our emotional connection, as well as the exploration of hopes and fears, strength and ultimately freedom. My aim for “Skin to Skin” is to illuminate the universal essence of motherhood and the resilience it inspires in the face of challenges.
